J. Herbin 1670 Collection 50 ml Ink Bottle - Caroube de Chypre
The J. Herbin 1670 anniversary ink collection was introduced to commemorate the 340th anniversary of the ink maker. The Caroube de Chypre is the 5th ink in the series, featuring a rich cocoa brown colour with gold shimmer and an impressive red sheen.
The decorative ink bottle carries a wax seal on the front, adding to its aesthetic appeal and vintage look that celebrates the rich history of J. Herbin. The name 'Caroube de Chypre' came from the dried carob pods commonly found in the Mediterranean region.
As with many other shimmer inks, be mindful that the glittery particles can restrict ink flow in some pens, especially ones with finer nibs. Good pen maintenance practice will help prevent issues with ink flow when using this ink.
*Our ink swabs are references to the actual ink colour. We have taken a lot of care and effort to ensure these swabs represent the actual colour to their best extent, but colours may vary due to factors such as monitor brightness and colour, nib size and wetness of your pen, and paper used. If you are unsure, we recommend trying an ink sample or chat with us, we are glad to help.
