Airmail Letter Pad - Lined
Back in the days when airmail first become available, people were able to write letters and send them to their family and friends living far away. The letters were mailed in the highly recognizable airmail envelopes, which have red and blue striped edges like the cover of this letter pad.
This letter pad is designed with airmail in mind. To reduce postage cost, the paper is extremely thin and lightweight so it won't cost an arm and a leg to send. Even though the paper is thin and translucent, it is surprisingly compatible with fountain pen ink. There is no bleedthrough or feathering even when writing with an extra broad nib, although the back side of the page is not usable due to the show through.
