J. Herbin 350th Anniversary 500ml Ink Bottle - Rouge Caroubier (Carob Seed Red)
Founded in 1670, this year marks the 350th anniversary of J. Herbin. To celebrate this occasion, the French ink and wax maker released a series of 350th Anniversary ink, bottled in their original ink bottle and label with a whooping 500ml of ink. The 5 colours available are the oldest J. Herbin ink colours ever made - Perle Noire, Bleu Myosotis, Rouge Caroubier, Vert Reseda, Violette Pensee.
J. Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world. "The Jewel of Inks" was created in Paris in 1700. Herbin uses all natural dyes in their fountain pen inks. This natural composition is reflected in the very neutral pH of the inks.
Rouge caroubier (Carob seed red): the caroubier is a tree measuring from 5 to 7 meters and can reach 15 meters exceptionally. It is cultivated for its fruit, the carob.
This ink is safe for fountain pens and dip pens.
500ml bottle. Made in France.
It's a bit pinky and softer than Diamine's Red Dragon or Noodler's Nikita. Works without featuring or bleeding. Very nice!
