J. Herbin Spiral Glass Dip Pen - Light Blue
Glass pens have a nice ink flow and are the only instrument that gives you an honest and direct experience with your ink, which makes them ideal for testing new ink colors. They write elegantly yet easily rinse clean with water, so you can quickly switch between different inks colors without having to refill/clean out a fountain pen. When dipped, a glass pen can write multiple sentences before needing to be re-dipped.
Each J. Herbin glass pen is expertly hand made and is an individual work of art. It features a spiral glass handle and a tip that is delicately twisted in a light spiral to hold the maximum amount of ink. The pen measures 20 cm long.
How to use your glass pen:
1. Dip the pen slightly in an ink bottle. Tip should be only partially submerged to avoid ink blots.
2. Glide tip against bottle opening to drain excess ink. When ink no longer drips down from the nib it is ready to write with.
3. Use your glass pen to write notes, letters, wedding invitations, etc. (you may want to practice a bit first to get a feel for your pen). Re-dip in ink as necessary.
*Each glass pen is individually hand-crafted, so the actual shade of colour will vary, and not necessarily the same as shown in the product picture.
